The title for the XXIII IUFRO World Congress, "Forests for the Future: Sustaining Society and the Environment," provides the basis for the program scope and format. The structure of the scientific program includes Plenary Sessions, Sub-plenary Sessions, Technical Sessions and Poster Sessions. The scientific program will give delegates an opportunity to learn about the latest research and projects conducted by the worldĄŻs leading forest scientists and experts in related fields.

Congress Introductory Session
IUFRO Headquarters and the Congress Organizing Committee will provide a Congress introductory session led by Dr. Michael Kleine, Coordinator of IUFRO-SPDC, for those who attend an IUFRO World Congress for the first time. The session will be held at COEX from 16:00 to 17:00 hours on Sunday 22 August.
